James 5:11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
Going through trials and difficult times can cause you to second guess many things. You will second guess yourself. You will second guess others. You will second guess your motives and thoughts. You will second guess what you are supposed to be doing. You will second guess the words and actions of family and friends. You will second guess what is being preached and taught in church as well as your own studies and prayer time. Now, hopefully you will not do all these to yourself as once, but more than likely, you will allow yourself to occupy in more than one of these areas during difficulties. When you allow yourself to go down these avenues, you are second guessing the Lord. When you go through trials and hard times of many sorts, you do need to ask the Lord “what are You showing me and wanting me to learn;” maybe, also “Lord what or where do I need to turn around and change.” The more you question the “what if’s” or “but this or that,” “maybe…;” the more you doubt or second guess what Jesus is trying to show you; the more you fall into unbelief. So now what? Here are a few Scriptures to help encourage you today.
God cares about every detail of your life…
He collects every tear in a bottle. (Psalm 56:8)
He numbers every hair on your head. (Luke 12:7)
He knows every hurt in your heart. (Psalm 34:18)
He knew us before were born. (Isaiah 44:24; Jer. 1:5)
He hears us. (Psalm 3:4: 34:4; …..)
The Lord knows all you are going through. He loves you, He cares for you, and He will make sure not one detail is overlooked.
The Lord has given you and I promise after promise of His love, care, mercy, longsuffering and grace for us….so much more than these, God’s promises are too numberous to be numbered.
God cares, cares right down to the last detail.
Deuteronomy 31:8 And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
Blessing to you as you seek Jesus, He is there waiting for you so He may show Himself clearly to you. Just reach out and call on Him, He cares, He will answer, He will be there, He will show Himself in the details.
