God is wonderful…It is rainy and cold out!

Yes it is rainy and cold out today. But what a wonderful day it is.

Why? you say. I will tell you why.

Psalms 118:23-24 (KJV)
This is the Lord’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes. 24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Our day may not seem to “feel” as it is holding much for us, but oh how it is.

Job 5:9-11 (Amplified Bible)
Who does great things and unsearchable, marvelous things without number, 10 Who gives rain upon the earth and sends waters upon the fields, 11 So that He sets on high those who are lowly, and those who mourn He lifts to safety.

The Lord God Almighty, the Holy One, our Jesus does this for us. Praise God!

Job 5:16-18  (Amplifed Bible)
So the poor have hope, and iniquity shuts her mouth. 17 Happy and fortunate is the man whom God reproves; so do not despise or reject the correction of the Almighty [subjecting you to trial and suffering]. 18 For He wounds, but He binds up; He smites, but His hands heal.

What marvelous hope we all have in our Saviour. How absolutely blessed we are in Him. He loves us so. If He did not,He would not take the time to redirect our lives and build us back up again. How precious is He.

Romans 11:33-36-12:1-3  (KJV)
O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! 34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor? 35 Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again? 36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. 3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith

Who can know why the Lord does what He does, except for the one main fact, He loves us. His desire is we would give ourselves totally and completely to Him. Paul tells us here it is a reasonable thing to do. It is rational, not something way out there in left field, but wonderful. In whatever place we ind ourselves we are given faith for it.god supplies that faith. But are we willing to receive His supply for us? I would trust so. There is no other way to please Him. There is no other way to live and walk in this Christian life without faith in our God.

Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

AMEN!!!!

Hebrews 11:1 (Amplified Bible)
1 NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

Hebrews 12:1-2 (Amplified Bible)
1 THEREFORE THEN, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who have borne testimony to the Truth], let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us, 2 Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

We can only seek the Lord diligently (with our whole heart) by faith. As we read chapter 11 of Hebrews we see all the ones that endured afflictions and other hard time…some, many died because of their faith in God, yet they looked at it as an honor not a horror. They were looking for a better and greater country. Their eyes and hearts were let upon the will of God and the hope they had in Him.

We, too can have this same hope in the Lord. We have many witness standing before and about us. Not only the ones from biblical times, but there ones that have served and given their lives for Christ for the past 2000+ years. People are giving their lives now and it is a joy for them. Christ, who endured the greatest of all sufferings counted His “lot” to be a joy. We were His “lot”, His suffer, and we were His joy. Can we not count our “lot”, our sufferings and difficult situations in life as a joy for Him. Jesus bore the cross  His Father gave him and so He did it for us. We ought to bear our cross that Christ has chosen for us, for His sake.

Jeremiah 29:11 (Amplified Bible)
For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome.

The Lord has a wonderful plan for our lives. We do not think on the same level as He does for our lives, but we need to learn to. What He plans for our lives is wonderful and it will have an awesome outcome.

Praise the Lord for His work in our lives, in my live.

I love you and trusting you be bathed in the grace of and look eagerly into His hope for you. 🙂
