He is alive! Jesus is risen!

*(I will make reference to “man,” but this is referring to all men, women, and children.)

Thank You Father for Your great gift of Your Son. You loved us so You had a plan from the beginning. You knew man (Adam and Eve) would sooner or later go against what You asked of them. (sin) You and Your Son  prepared a plan; a way for man. There was a temporary “fix,” if you will, through the sacrifice of an animal so that man’s sin would be rolled ahead for another year, blood had to be shed for the sin of man. What grace and mercy you showed to man-kind in the days of the Old Testament. You gave man a picture of hope to look forward to the greatest sacrifice for man.

The blood sacrifice of the Old Testament looked forward to the ultimate sacrifice.

The greatest sacrifice of all, Your Son. You sent him here to earth as a baby. You watched Him grow. You watched Him play and learn the trade of a carpenter. You led Him to choose his followers, His disciples. You taught Him to listen to You even though He was God, He still was man and had a will of His own. Your Son, Jesus, chose to do Your will, the will of His Heavenly Father, rather tan His own. Jesus set a great standard for all to follow. Obedience.

You knew just as well as Jesus did what was ahead of Him, at the end of His ministry here on earth. You both knew what He was to face the last week of His life. You both also knew it was needed and why. Man needed a redeemer, the ultimate sacrifice for man’s sin. You knew in order to have unhindered fellowship with man, the ultimate sacrifice had to be done. You both also knew in order for Jesus to have a Bride one day she needed to be ready, watching and set apart giving herself wholly unto Your Son. You Father, wanted your Son, Jesus, to have a beautiful relationship with the human race, but only could that be achieved through the ultimate sacrifice of Your son.

The ultimate sacrifice.

I thank You and Praise You it didn’t just stop there with the death of Your son on the cross. He rose from that darkened tomb.

But we also had a marvelous picture of what was to come as Your Son hung there on that cruel cross. the thief beside Him asked for forgiveness and if Jesus would remember him. Jesus reply to that man was so wonderful, “This day you will see me in paradise.” This ought to take ones breath away. Jesus showed love and mercy on the cross. Jesus forgave him and told him, he would be in paradise with Jesus. This is a picture of our hope we have in Him today.

No longer is Jesus in that darkened tomb, nor has He been there for over 2000 years. HE HAS RISEN! Jesus has risen that we may have life, an abundant life in Him.

I urge you if you are reading this and you do not know Jesus as Savior, ask Him to come into your heart and life. How? It is so easy, and if you would bear with me and read these Scriptures first, they may help you.

Jeremiah 31:3 (New King James)
…”Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with loving-kindness I have drawn you.

Romans 3:23 (New King James)
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Jesus loves all man-kind, He died for each one.

John 3:16-18 (American Standard Version)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God sent not the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through him. 18 He that believeth on him is not judged: he that believeth not hath been judged already, because he hath not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God.

It was our sin, it was you and me that put Jesus on the cross.

Romans 8:1-9 (God’s Word)
So those who are believers in Christ Jesus can no longer be condemned. 2 The standards of the Spirit, who gives life through Christ Jesus, have set you free from the standards of sin and death. 3 It is impossible to do what God’s standards demand because of the weakness our human nature has. But God sent his Son to have a human nature as sinners have and to pay for sin. That way God condemned sin in our corrupt nature. 4 Therefore, we, who do not live by our corrupt nature but by our spiritual nature, are able to meet God’s standards. 5 Those who live by the corrupt nature have the corrupt nature’s attitude. But those who live by the spiritual nature have the spiritual nature’s attitude. 6 The corrupt nature’s attitude leads to death. But the spiritual nature’s attitude leads to life and peace. 7 This is so because the corrupt nature has a hostile attitude toward God. It refuses to place itself under the authority of God’s standards because it can’t. 8 Those who are under the control of the corrupt nature can’t please God. 9 But if God’s Spirit lives in you, you are under the control of your spiritual nature, not your corrupt nature. Whoever doesn’t have the Spirit of Christ doesn’t belong to him.

Jeremiah 33:3 (New King James)
‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’

Everyone needs the Savior, Jesus.

Here is a scenario of a possible thought process you may want to consider.  1) Are you tired of living the life you are living or do you know and feel you have an emptiness or lost feeling that nothing seems to fill, then you need Jesus. 2) Desire to know Jesus as Savior. 3) Tell Jesus you need Him. 4) Recognize you have sinned (done wrong) and you want a new beginning in life. 5) Tell Jesus you know you have sinned and can’t make things right on your own you need Him. You need Him to come into your life and live in your heart. 6) Don’t worry about changing your life, THAT IS GOD’S BUSINESS TO CHANGE US. 7) You talk with Him (pray) and He will hear you. Believe it, believe what you have just prayed and Jesus will do the rest. Here is your basic introduction to salvation. If you have any questions please feel free to send a comment and I will answer the best I know how.

Jesus has forgiven you and me. He loves us! always has yet when we were still in sin and the ways of the world.

Lord bless you and praise the Lord my Savior Jesus, I have hope and the mercy to live in His grace that’s so amazing every day.

Grace of God will break every chain that holds us and keeps us from Him. Just ask Him. 🙂

Until later, love (<3) & prayers (/\’s) to you.

Loves conversation about being angry.

You are angry again, huh!

Okay so you say you have heard it all, then re-apply it! you hate who you are….

Are not Christ‘s and in Him???

You feel the dragon is still allive….He has raised his ugly head again and you thought you had dealt with him once and for all, wouldn’t have to deal with this anymore. The dragon will only be dead once Jesus chains him in the lake of fire for all eternity.

We all get angry. Anger doesn’t have to rule over us.

Go read the book of Ephesians and if you have the Amplified…better yet. Yes, the whole book of Ephesians.

Anger is a choice. A choice we need to ask if we want to take it and play with it or not. Anger is also an emotion we were given and yes by God. It is an emotion we can allow the enemy, satan to take and turn it into the most hideous monster and rip us and everyone else around us apart. BUT it does not have to be that way. Also read Psalm 51. The Lord is able to cleanse us in a way like no other. But it is nothing I/we can do, only Him. Our part is giving up. Denying the flesh and what I think, feel or see. Facts may be there, but we are asked…commanded 1st to deny self, 2nd take up our cross…what God has handed us, embrace it and 3rd follow Him. If we can’t do what He is asking and requiring of us it always goes back to the 1st step…totally and utterly denying, relinquishing self to its death. No you can’t do it, but Jesus can do this in you. Stop looking at how you feel. Get your eyes off of yourself and onto Him. Eyes on Jesus!

You are so concentrated on you and your actions you are not taking the time to stop yourself anymore. Things are mountains in your eye sight and that is all you see, the mountains and they are too treacherous to get over and there is no other way but to climb them and you know it. It horrifies you dear heart. Your children; your work; life; people and other things on giant treaherous mountain and you are reacting in anger. You can not control your circumstances so you get angry. The job doesn’t go right. The kids don’t do what you’d like. And don’t get me started on people and what they can do…Life kinda stinks and you can not do a blessed thing so you get angry.

You my dear need to start back on your knees and say “here I am Lord. Renovate me because I can not do this any more.” (Rom 12:1-3) ….And Jesus will be jumping up and down doing the happy dance. Spend more time in prayer…sincere prayer and fasting. You know. Purpose in you heart. (Dan 1:8; Ps 119:106; Ruth 1:16-18) Jesus loves you. (Jer 31:3; John 3:16; Hosea 6:1-3; Mat 11:28-30) I could go on but you know….guess this is a bit fresh in my mind too…been there recently and the Lord has had to bring me back around.

Yep there are times I wonder if I ought to keep my mouth shut….I’m sure I should…I love you too much to stay quiet for too long. We make mistakes and flounder around….we’re human. But we do not have to keep floundering and have our wonderful all out big bang jump kick and scream feel sorry for myself self-pity parties. There comes a time when we have stop…there will be a few of these parties we feel we have to throw before we give up or He comes to take us to Glory (as in the “I’ll fly away O glory I’ll fly away, ‘fore I die, by and by I’ll fly away…just a few more weary days and I’ll fly away”…Amen, said in faith, in trust and in hope of HIs coming). If we would only see how much Jesus loves us. How He loves you.

God sees our weakness, why do you think He is there waiting to help put pieces back together again…but after His design, at the…”Restoration Shop-BETTER THAN U-NEW.” God knows we need changing, why do you think He has held out the best building agency, “Complete and Secure Renovations, Eternal Guaranty.”

The Lord is gracious. Yet He gives us just enough room to see we can not live this life on our own. We need Him. With Him times do get very difficult….but absolutely wretched without His daily presence.

The more we keep our eyes on ourselves and our failures, we lose sight of Who He is. We are Christ and Christ is in us. We have the power in us that raised Christ from the dead, but if we are not focused on Him we can not tap into that power we are given. Seek first the kingdom of Heaven….God’s things. Set your affections, heart and desires on Him. Ask! Seek! Knock! and keep doing it again and again. But give Him time to speak He has something He wants you to hear. So listen for that small voice. Perk up them ears of yours and eagerly await what He is wanting to say. Listen for that gentle knock on your hearts door. Run and open with joy and ask Him to sit, pour Him a cup of tea if He asks for it and sit, be still and listen to what He has come to visit about.

I love you and am praying for you. Keep pressing in. You will find Him just where you left Him…in ther frozen food aisle next or “Rocky Road I-Scream.” Go back hug Him, grab His hand and ask “Where do You want to dine?” He will feed you of the choicest of His table, and not down the frozen food aisle with junk food that temporarily satisfies.

Just don’t hang in there, grab a hold of Jesus with all you have and say amen let go and let Him take you on greater journeys than you have ever been on before.

God’s grace fill you as you walk in His hope.

From the lighter side to the serious side of salvation….part 2

An open door. Luke 21:28; Revalation 3:20 - Photo by Candy Clonts

Praise God! We have new life in Christ. We want to turn over a new leaf each new year or make resolutions, but as we all know we can not do this. These are promises we try to keep in our own strength, and we can not.

But….

Matthew 19:26
26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Jesus doesn’t want us to turn over a new leaf of make resolutions, but to have an abundant life in Him. This life we desire, in thinking we need to turn over a new leaf, is a life in Christ.

*Now to continue from my previoius notes to you…..

Not only were we buried in the death of Christ we were also raised with Him into a new an amazing life. This great transformation is only by the grace of God. Salvation is a gift of God, it was not by how good we are or what great works we are able to do. Nor is it how many people I am able to lead into the Kingdom of God. It is only by our humility of realizing we are all sinners and need a Savior, asking Jesus into our hearts by faith, and recieve His gift od salvation. It is that simple. Christ died for our sin. He raised from the dead that WE might have life through Him. We acknowledge we are sinners and can do no right. Ask Him to forgive us of our sin. Ask Him to come live and riegn in my life. Believe He is now living and with and within you…you have now recieved the gift of salvation. It is yours. No one or anythng can take that from you.

Oh but wait, what if I mess up. You will. You will probably fall flat on you face and hard. But God!!!!

John 3:15-17
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Basically Good?

Romans 3:23-24
23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified (render or declare as innocent) freely by his grace through the redemption (bought back with a price….the blood of Jesus) that is in Christ Jesus:

Hebrews 10:10
10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
(For this very reson we have been made holy; purified, by the offering of the sacrifice Christ made for you nd me, He did it once and for all. Christ died once for the sin of man.

***I have a question some may want to ponder here….”If Jesus died once for our sin, why do we contiune to put Him on the cross again and again?” When He died He died once for all sin. Yes we need to ask for forgiveness when we have done wrong, but to ask for salvation everytime we do something wrong, to me that is placing Jesus back on the cross over and over. There is no need for that. Forgiveness yes…sin displeases and hurts the heart of God an dour relationship with Him…..but asking to be saved again, it is not necessary. I believe if you don’t understsnd and believe He died once for your sin, you are not living in grace, the wonderful grace of God.

Galatians 2:16
16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.

Galatians 2:20
20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Ephesians 2:4-10
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened (made us alive) us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved😉 6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

God created us so that we may have fellowship with His Son Jesus. This fellowship only comes through salvation. Accepting the death, the blood that was shed for your sins. Accepting Jesus rose from death to life so that you may have life through Him. This is what gives us fellowship with Jesus. This is what fills the voids in our lives. This is why we trying to make resolotions or turn over a new leaf in our life, the void of Christ in our life, an emptiness we can’t understand. Jesus desires to be our life. He is our life.

Lord bless  you. God’s saving grace is a gift to you, for the asking, won’t you ask Him to be your Saviour if you have not asked into your heart and life already. With His grace pouring out to you and in you it will bring such great hope for your days.

With much love and prayers. I appreciate each and everyone of you.
